Armaflex Pipe insulation is flexible elastomeric thermal
insulation, black in color, supplied as unslit tubing. The
expanded closed-cell structure of Armaflex Pipe Insulation
makes it an efficient insulation.

Armaflex Pipe Insulation is used to retard gain and control condensation drip for cold-water plumbing, chilled watger, and refrigeration lines. It also efficiently reduces heat flow for hot water plumbing and liquid heating and dual temperature
piping.

For insulation of hot, cold, concealed and exposed
piping operating at temperatures from 0° F (-18C) to
850° F (454C) in commercial building, industrial facilities
and proces or power plants. Fiberglas Pipe Insulation's
low thermal conductivity contributes to lower operating
costs of heating and cooling equipment.

Fitting covers are available in many shapes and sizes. Its two piece welded construction provides ease of fabrication in the field, not available in a traditinal one piece fitting cover. Available in shapes for 90° and 45° short and long radius elbows, tees, and valves plus a wide variety of other things.

Stainless Steel Roll Jacketing is manufactured from T-304 and T-316 prime grade Stainless Steels. These alloys comply with ASTMA A-240, and are supplied with a regualr dull finish for reduced glare. The yield strength is 30,000-45,000 PSI and tensile strength is 75,000-110,000 PSI.

These alloys are of a special soft-annealed temper, for ease in fabrication. T-304 is normally used in all except the most corrosive areas, where T-316 is recommended.

The system 15 and System 50 are the mediuim and large size kits`in the standard, non-rated foam formula. The density of the foam is 1.75 punds per cubic foot free rise or 2 pounds per cubic foot in place. The foam will expand six times its original volume and is tack free in 30 to 45 seconds. The foam is 97% closed cell, has an R-Value of 7.7 per inch and is recommended for most commercial and industrial applications.
